2020 is drawing to an end but the pandemic that started nearly a year ago is still ravaging the globe. A new US administration may have given many a renewed hope for the US and China to mend its relationship, yet the path forward remains complicated and uncertain. Meanwhile, China's 14th Five-Year-Plan (FYP) will soon be released in the early spring of 2021, a defining moment for China as it looks to carry out its national priorities for the next five years amidst the geopolitical tensions.
What are some of the key economic outlooks for China in 2021? How should one interpret the upcoming FYP? How should MNCs in China leverage the underlying opportunities?
To express our gratitude for your support for AmCham China and to kick off the 2021 Policy+ program, we are hosting an event exclusively for Policy+ subscribing companies on Wednesday, January 13, from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the Puxuan Hotel. We are honored to have Dr. Fan Gang, Director of China's National Economic Research Institute (NERI), to speak.
The event has been adjusted in accordance with the latest COVID-19 guidelines recommended by the Beijing Municipal Government:
I. 2021 Policy+ program planning
II. Speech by Dr. Fan and group discussion on the 14th FYP and China's reform and openings
III. Networking
