The factory tour is organized by the Manufacturing and Sustainability Committee of AmCham China Tianjin as part of our ongoing effort to promote mutual learning and exchange among members. This event will serve as an excellent opportunity to network with industry experts and stay updated on the latest local developments.

GE HealthCare (Tianjin) Company Limited(hereinafter referred to as the "Tianjin Site"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of GE HealthCare, is a key manufacturing facility. The site primarily produces Magnetic Resonance (MR) imaging systems, featuring two main production lines for superconducting magnets and control systems.
As the only manufacturing base outside the United States with full production capabilities for the entire superconducting MR product line, the Tianjin Site supplies products to numerous countries and regions worldwide. It truly operates with a "In China, for the world" strategy and stands as one of the largest medical equipment manufacturing sites within GE HealthCare's global network.
The MR products manufactured here rank among the top three globally in terms of market position, with their technical specifications meeting advanced international standards. In a significant development, the GE HealthCare MR East Hemisphere Headquarters project was successfully signed and established in Tianjin in February 2024. This initiative is set to further elevate the Tianjin Site's strategic and core role within the global market.
