New technologies are changing the global business environment in sometimes unexplainable ways. Results can be transformative, but also alarming. We are now operating in an era where virtually all of the underlying data and technology is changing at a rate and intensity that is truly disruptive. Nowhere is this more pronounced than in China. Artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and cyber malfeasance are examples of areas which are evolving faster than the language and terminology which describes them.

Prominent technology expert Anthony Scriffignano, Chief Data Scientist at Dun and Bradstreet, will explore new ways of thinking and approaches to problem solving that business leaders need to successfully adopt transformational technologies. He will be joined by Brent Young, Vice President, China Corporate Strategy Office at Intel; Bruce Fu, Co-lead of APCO Worldwide's technology practice; and Annie Yin who will share their insights on China's rapidly evolving business and regulatory landscape and discuss implications for both policymakers and corporate strategists.

It is essential that business and policy leaders comprehend which technologies will matter to them and prepare accordingly. In the workshop, we will outline:

  • Convergence of Disruption: how disruptive technologies are changing the environment and business decisions
  • Examining some pitfalls to watch out for as organizations adopt these new technologies
  • Sharing practical tips of how to deal with fast changing trends

Please contact the ICT Forum Coordinator, Evan Schmitt, at eschmitt@amchamchina.org if you have any questions.
