Offline (EN) | Dialogue with U.S. Embassy Financial Officer

Recently, the US-China financial working group and economic working group held their first meetings, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi visited the US last month, and Presidents Biden and Xi are set to meet on the sidelines of the APEC Economic Leaders' Summit in San Francisco. These high-level interactions between the US and China have fostered a warmer bilateral atmosphere, while new dialogue mechanisms and communication channels have been established, including the creation of working groups to tackle economic, financial, and business issues.

AmCham China's Financial Services and Insurance Committee has invited experts from the US Foreign Commercial Service and PwC to share recent updates following US Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo's visit to China, and to give their views on the bilateral commercial and business relationship as well as their analysis and outlook for the Chinese economy and its impact on the insurance and financial sector for 2024.

This event is a closed-door meeting, only open AmCham China Financial Services and Insurance Committee members and invited US insurance and financial services companies. Please register to take this opportunity to have an in-person discussion with US Embassy representatives and other company representatives.
