Offline (EN) | Healthcare Roundtable with FDA

The Roundtable meeting with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is part of the Healthcare Committee 2023 research programs, and we are pleased to announce that we have invited two U.S. commissioners to join us at the first meeting this year on 13 June.

This Roundtable will focus on one or two hot topics, such as the domestic and global impact of new legislation, regulations, guidance, and policies on innovative drugs. It will be a great platform where international healthcare companies can share their challenges and opportunities in the Chinese market while FDA can share the U.S. experience in specific areas. Through open and collaborative discussion, we are dedicated to promoting a deeper understanding of the laws and regulations governing therapeutic innovation, product approval, and the protection of human research participants on the global stage.

***Please note that participants cannot bring electronic devices such as laptops. Cell phones may allow bringing in, we will give a final announcement before the event as we are discussing with the security of the embassy. Also, Walk-in is not allowed for this meeting. All participants should register with their ID information before the meeting. Thank you for your understanding.

Mark Abdoo is the Associate Commissioner for Global Policy and Strategy, providing executive oversight, strategic leadership and policy direction to FDA’s global operations, trade and diplomacy activities, and engagement with international stakeholders. He leads the Office of Global Policy and Strategy (OGPS), which is comprised of the Office of Diplomacy and Partnerships, the Office of Global Operations, and the Office of Trade, Mutual Recognition and International Arrangements, which are collectively dedicated to expanding the reach of FDA’s global agenda in sustainable and measurable ways.
