The MSSC Forum would like to invite all AmCham China members to join the Future of Manufacturing Competitiveness in China Event next Thursday on April 28th!


This event will invite 2 speakers from Boeing and Vigor to talk about their unique stories associated with manufacturing competitiveness, how their companies have evolved and stay competitive in China, followed by a Q&A session.


Due to COVID-19 controls, the meeting will be open both online and offline. Offline participation is up to 30 seats limitation.

    After working in the tech industry for 8 years in London, Michael joined his family business in late 2013 as a project manager. He was appointed CEO in 2020 and continue to expand the business. He is now transforming the family business into an enterprise.

    Director of Boeing Tianjin Composites Co., Ltd

    Marcus has over 35 years of Supplier Management, Program Planning and Control (PP&C) and Financial Management experience with The Boeing Company.

    Marcus joined Boeing Tianjin Composites (BTC) Company in July 2016. He is currently the Director of Customer Support and New Programs.

    Prior to joining BTC, Marcus was Senior Manager, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Supplier Management responsible for Supply Chain Architecture and Integration on the 777X Program and prior to that on the KC-46 Tanker Program.

    Prior to joining the KC-46 Tanker Program Marcus spent six years on the 787 Program as the Senior Manager responsible for the implementation of Program Planning, Integrated Scheduling, Earned Value Management and Baseline Management.

    Marcus holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida and a MBA Degree from the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

    He held a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) issued by the Project Management Institute and from 2000 to 2012 he was an Adjunct Professor at Keller Graduate School of Management teaching classes in Project Management, Risk and Quality Management, Contracts and Earned Value Management.
