AmCham China President Michael Hart will host a Townhall meeting this Friday (Dec. 2) morning to address the following:

  • What is the Chamber doing to provide feedback to the government on COVID related policies?
  • What are the ways you can give feedback to the Chamber for us to share?
  • How will the Chamber operate given ongoing restrictions and lockdowns?
  • Other questions members might have

We will also be joined by Helen Zhang, Director of Pharmacy at United Family Healthcare. Helen will speak about home quarantine medications and OTC treatments, and the current vaccine availability and status in China.

    Dr. Zhang is a native from Hong Kong and graduated from University of California, San Francisco in 1989. She has been working for South San Francisco Kaiser Permanente Hospital before she returned to China in 2001.
    Dr. Zhang has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy, in particular, promoting pharmaceutical care in multi-disciplinary areas and ensuring medication use safety. Dr. Zhang is a registered pharmacist in both China and California and Board member of the Chinese Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Recently, she is actively involved in promoting pharmaceutical service and safe immunization practices in the private healthcare sector, and was awarded the 2014 Excellent Chinese Pharmacist title.
