2023 marks the first year of China's re-opening after the COVID-19 pandemic, hence the decisions made at the "Two Sessions" are of high importance to global companies in China; they serve as a valuable window into China's politics and reveal Beijing's priorities and policy direction for the coming year.     Changchun Hua

    Managing Director, Chief Economist for Greater China of KKR

    Changchun Hua joined KKR in 2021 and is a member of the Global Macro, Balance Sheet and Risk team, serving as the Chief Economist for Greater China. Prior to joining KKR, he was the global chief economist of GTJA Securities Research Institute, China economist at Nomura International (Hong Kong), an economist at the International Monetary Fund in the Hong Kong office, a manager at Hong Kong Monetary Authority and a researcher at Asia Development Bank Institute in Japan. He specializes in public economics and finance and obtained his Ph.D. in Public Policy (Public Economics) from Hitotsubashi University of Japan, his M.A. in Economics from Renmin University of China, an M.P.P. from Hitotsubashi University of Japan, and a B.A. in Economic Management from Yanshan University in China.
    花长春博士于2021年加入KKR，现任KKR投资集团大中华区首席经济学家，董事总经理。在这之前，曾担任国泰君安证券研究所全球首席经济学家，野村证券（国际）中国经济学家，国际货币基金组织（香港代表处）经济学家，香港金融管理局经理和亚洲开发银行研究所研究员。花长春研究领域主要集中公共经济学和财政学，获得日本一桥大学公共政策（公共经济学）博士、中国人民大学经济学硕士和燕山大学的管理学学士。
