As China's labor law framework continues to strengthen, foreign-funded enterprises (FIEs) are encountering mounting complexities and legal risks in the area of labor contract termination. Under the tight restrictions of the Labor Contract Law and associated judicial interpretations, labor inspection bodies are enhancing their oversight. Businesses have to guarantee compliance to steer clear of potential risks such as high compensation payments, administrative penalties, or damage to their reputation. Improper termination procedures or management measures might lead to rulings reinstating the employment relationship, double severance pay, or compensation for unlawful contract termination.

To help businesses tackle these challenges, AmCham China Northeast Chapter, in collaboration with Ms. Mingxi Ren, a partner at Beijing Dacheng (Dalian) Law Offices, is organizing a professional webinar. Focusing on common scenarios like mutual agreement terminations, employee resignations, and employer-initiated dismissals, the training will analyze the underlying legal risks. Drawing on her extensive experience, Ms. Ren will offer practical compliance strategies, risk assessment tools, and tailored practical advice for FIEs in China.

This training is designed for HR managers, legal teams, and business decision-makers. It aims to equip participants with the knowledge to build a labor contract termination management system that aligns with Chinese labor laws.
