In November 2021, the National Medical Insurance Administration issued a Notice on issuing a Three-year Action Plan for THE REFORM of DRG/DIP Payment mode, which clearly stated that the reform of DRG/DIP payment mode should be completed from 2022 to 2024 to promote high-quality development of medical insurance. It is emphasized that the main purpose of the reform of payment mode is to guide medical institutions to change the current extensive and expanded operation mechanism, to pay more attention to connote development, pay more attention to internal cost control, and pay more attention to reflect the value of medical service technology.

The reform of DRG/DIP medical insurance payment mode should not only respond well, but also be treated as an effective management tool in promoting the development of hospitals. To this end, we will organize the "DRG/DIP Payment Mode Reform Workshop under big Data" under the guidance of HHRDC of the NHC.
