Mark your calendar for AmCham China SMEs & Entrepreneurs Committee's Redefining Diplomacy: One Village at a Time Event on February 28!
China's countryside is still a canvas upon which the old and new daily interact. It allows everyone to see where China has come from and where it may go from here. It is an exciting mixture of old and new. The award-winning boutique hotel, Linden Centre, acts as a great example to connect traditional and modern culture and establish cultural exchange between east and west through in-depth research and translation of local culture.
For this event, AmCham China is pleased to invite the founder and president of Linden Centre to speak about how their sites incorporate and train the local villagers, leverage existing structures to revitalize communities, and how he grew his company for the first 12 years without taking on private investors. Importantly, he will discuss how he has developed win-win partnership with county and prefectural governments. His model demonstrates a clear openness on the part of regional governments for deeper cooperation with foreign firms. Brian will also talk about his road of success in doing business in China as a pioneer entrepreneur for small-size venture.
All members are welcome.
