Working Session #3 Disease Prevention and Emergency Response
We are excited to announce that the third Working Session of the Public Health Track of the Social Impact Initiative will be held on Friday, November 13. The working session format will be an interactive discussion around disease prevention and control in China, vaccines, and emergency response. AmCham China is inviting international experts, policy makers, industry leaders, and other key stakeholders to attend and contribute to an interactive discussion. Working session participants will develop actionable policy recommendations in these topics geared towards policymakers in China.
Participation in the Working Session
Please note that attendance for the working session is invite-only. We will be using an online conference system that allows online attendees to speak/participate in the session. Through this system, participants can also select whether to listen to the discussion in English or Chinese language.
Also, if you have registered for the working session but cannot attend or plan to bring guests, please let the Social Impact Initiative team know at least 48 hoursin advance since we will organize small group discussions and make other arrangements based on the final attendee list.
Case Studies
AmCham China would like to supplement the Working Session content and material with case studies led and presented by our member companies. We are looking for 2 to 3 sponsoring members that are willing to present during the Working Session. This is an opportunity to present your company's real-word experience and share best practices/lessons learned with working session participants. Case study presentations will (1) present/identify the problem, (2) discuss the steps that were taken to address the problem, and (3) identify lessons learned and how they apply to the topic at hand. If you are interested in presenting a case study, please contact Kathy Li (kli@amchamchina.org).
Note: The agenda on the event page is a working agenda and subject to change before the actual working session.
