Join AmCham China Southwest Chapter for an evening of travel, storytelling, and cultural exchange as we celebrate the spirit of the 4th of July through the lens of exploration and human connection. Bringing together travelers, culture enthusiasts, business professionals, and friends of the American community, this special event offers a unique opportunity to connect through personal experiences, memorable journeys, and meaningful conversations inspired by travel in the United States and beyond.


The evening will feature Vincent Tang from Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board and a multilingual international cultural & travel content creator Denis Volcz, sharing insights on travel, culture, and cross-cultural experiences. Guests are also invited to share their own travel stories while enjoying food, drinks, networking, and a fun quiz on US tourism and culture with prizes. Whether you've explored America's national parks, driven its iconic highways, studied abroad, or are simply inspired by travel, come join the conversation and share your story.

Call for Presenters: Share Your Travel Story!

Have you had a memorable journey in the United States? Did a road trip, study abroad experience, national park adventure, cultural encounter, or unexpected travel moment leave a lasting impression on you?

Take the stage and share a 5-minute travel story. We are looking for personal experiences that inspire curiosity, cultural understanding, and meaningful connections.

Selected presenters will:

  • Receive a special appreciation gift
  • Be featured as community storytellers during the event
  • Share their experiences with an engaged international audience

No professional speaking experience is required, just bring your story, photos, and passion for travel. Interested participants are encouraged to contact AmCham China Southwest Chapter at wwei@amchamchina.org to register.
