Worked as a physician, especially a cardiovascular surgeon, for nearly twenty years. Be proficient in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of valvular diseases, coronary artery diseases and aortic diseases.

Since March 2013, changed career path from a surgeon to a medical devices trainer in Shanghai, support the training and education of clinical healthcare professionals in surgical, interventional, and nursing care, as well as assisting in the development of new procedures; during this time, published two SCI papers in collaboration with the research partners at the Shanghai Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Responsible for operations and management of the newly constructed Medtronic Innovation Center (Chengdu) in late 2020, with the facility opening on June 2, 2021 successfully. Completed approximately two thousand animal experiments and interventional simulations in the three years since opening, and trained more than 18,000 medical professionals from around the world.
