Welcome to AmCham China Southwest Chapter Global Gateways: Pre-Departure Roadshow for Studying in the US. Join us for an exciting half-day event on July 12 at The Ritz-Carlton Chengdu, where we'll guide you through kickstarting your study journey in the United States. Whether you're a prospective student or a parent, this event is designed to provide you with essential insights and practical tips to navigate the complexities of studying in the US.


Hosted by the EducationUSA Office and the US Commercial Service at the US Embassy in China, the event will focus on the themes of Safety, Adjustment, and Growth, providing a comprehensive introduction to practical information you need to know before studying in the US, covering academics, daily life, culture, legal matters, and more. Speakers will include Commercial and Public Affairs Officers from the US Embassy, representatives from US universities, student alumni, and financial service experts. This orientation is designed to help you lay a solid foundation for your US study experience.
