四川省政府一直把深化医疗卫生改革放在优先发展的战略位置，持续加大医疗投入，强化公共卫生服务体系建设。在积极的政策环境下，四川省着力推进基本医疗保险省级统筹，逐步缩小区域间差距，全面落实医疗保障待遇清单制度，逐步统一全省医保待遇保障政策。在构建现代化产业体系中，四川将重点发展生物制药、现代中药、高端化药、高性能医疗器械、核医药等特色优势领域，加快建成全国领先、世界一流的医药研发创新体系，综合实力进入全国第一方阵。

【AmCham China Healthcare Industry Group Delegation Visit to Sichuan】
The Sichuan Provincial Government has consistently prioritized the deepening of healthcare reform in its strategic development agenda, continuously increasing investment in healthcare, and strengthening the construction of the public health service system. In a favorable policy environment, Sichuan Province has been actively advancing the provincial-level integration of basic medical insurance, gradually narrowing regional disparities, fully implementing the system of medical insurance benefit lists, and progressively unifying the medical insurance benefit guarantee policies across the province. In the construction of a modern industrial system, Sichuan Province will focus on developing characteristic advantage areas such as biopharmaceuticals, modern Chinese medicine, high-end pharmaceuticals, high-performance medical equipment, and nuclear medicine. It aims to accelerate the establishment of a leading national and world-class pharmaceutical research and development innovation system, with comprehensive strength entering the forefront nationwide.
Members of AmCham China have always attached great importance to the development of Sichuan Province's medical industry and have provided strong support for healthcare reform and the development of medical institutions. We believe that communication between businesses and policy makers can provide valuable references for the optimization of future policies, thereby better meeting the actual clinical needs of patients and safeguarding the health and well-being of the people.
AmCham China will hold a delegation visit to Sichuan from 30th - 31st May, 2024, including meeting with Governor of Sichuan Province, Roundtable Meeting with Sichuan Provincial Healthcare Security Bureau and Provincial Healthcare Commission.
