The TReC (Tianjin Recycling & Environmental Challenge) program, now in its second year, is an annual event held between Tianjin’s top International schools, with the goal of increasing environmental awareness and sustainable practices. Schools participate in both hands-on and creative activities, as well as showcasing their existing environmental initiatives. The event culminates in an awards ceremony, where participants are recognized for their accomplishments.
Activities include a recyclable material collection drive, as well as a photo and art competition. The event is organized by the Environmental and Sustainability committee of AmCham China, Tianjin, with participation from the US Embassy and the Tianjin Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Seats are limited for those who would like to attend the awards ceremony at the Westin Tianjin on Friday, the 28th of April. Please register ASAP to book your seats. Sponsorship opportunities are open to anyone who would like to show their support for the students, the environment, and the world we all share.
Event Sponsor: RMB5000 in cash
Sponsorship is used to cover the costs of the event. These costs includes receptacles for recyclable materials collected, the customized trophy cup and flag awarded to the winner, design/printing and material production costs, and HR costs incurred over the course of the program.
