AmCham China, Tianjin will be hosting a series of events on May 15 to help members better understand the opportunities in Tianjin, and make the connections needed to succeed. This year, our theme will be the Aviation Industry. We will also be highlighting the Tianjin Airport Economic Area.
Aviation is a pillar industry for the city of Tianjin, and is a key component of China 2025. We have several members that are prominent global players in the industry with substantial facilities in Tianjin. As such, this is a good time to show our support for this key economic zone and the aviation industry.

The delivery meeting and reception is the signature event for the Tianjin chapter to create meaningful dialogue with the Tianjin Government as well as other key stakeholders. The meeting to handover the “white paper” will be for sponsors, invited guests and limited members as space allows. Those attending handover ceremony will be expected to participate in the full day's activities. We have limited sponsorships left, and spaces will be extremely limited; therefore seat allocation will be first come first serve.
Invitations to the U.S. Embassy and other key constituents have been issued as well. We also expect members of the AmCham Board of Governors to attend. This is our premier annual government relations event, and was very successful last year in highlighting members and their concerns. “The White Paper” has a section dedicated to Tianjin and will be widely distributed locally as well as to the rest of China.
