AmCham China is privileged to announced its inaugural Industrial Park Series program with the Changzhou National Hi-Tech District. Industrial parks and development zones are China's forefront engine of economic growth, and the utilization of foreign investment, application of cutting-edge technologies, and endeavors to pilot new policies and practices are inalienable to many parks' and zones' success stories. Documented in AmCham China's flagship annual White Paper and Business Climate Survey, many opportunities and challenges for American companies to do business in China are local, thus local governments, industrial parks and developments are critical stakeholders to exchange views on how to create a better business and investment environment for win-win partnerships.
In the context of China's Manufacturing 2025 strategy, the Changzhou National Hi-Tech District aims to become one of China's finest high-end equipment manufacturing hub, building on the District's traditional manufacturing strengths and the new areas including but not limited to:
This is not a "please come and invest call!" We hope our member companies attend prepared to share the best presentation that can represent the competitive edge your companies. The District's senior leadership and officials would like to keep their minds and ears open to hear and learn from AmCham China's member companies on the newest technologies, knowledge and practices that would help upgrade the District's manufacturing industries and understand how better provide services to businesses. A selection of local companies will also join the dialogue.
In order to ensure the quality of discussion and in-depth sharing, the attendance from AmCham China member companies to the roundtable will be limited to 15 and is invite-only. All registrations online is subject to approval.
After this invite-only roundtable, a general introduction session with presentations from and reception with Changzhou National Hi-tech District and local companies will follow this invite only session. The general session and reception from 4:30 to 6:30 pm will also be attended by AmCham China member companies from other member companies.
