AmCham Business Sustainability Committee invites you to participate in a discussion on 2017 Top 10 CSR Trends in China on Tuesday, Feb 21 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the conference room of Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This event is co-hosted by European chamber, AmCham China, German Chamber and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

In this session, our guest speaker, Dr. Guo Peiyuan, Co-founder and General Manager of SynTao, will present their recent research on China’s Top 10 CSR Trends in 2017. These trends driving China’s CSR development include: UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, Green Finance, Cross-sector Collaboration, New Technology Challenges, Green Consumption, Going Abroad with CSR etc. These trends serve as a tool to inspire and enable participants to stay in touch with industry leaders, develop CSR and sustainability strategies and engage right stakeholders.

Following Dr. Guo presentation, a panel of corporate executives and NGO leaders will have a dialogue to share their insights from business and NGO perspectives on how to reshape their CSR strategies in this new landscape of development.

This event is especially valuable for CSR practitioners from corporate communication, public affairs, governmental affairs, marketing & PR and HR function. Professionals from governments and NGOs are also welcome.

    Dr. Guo Peiyuan, who holds a Ph.D. in Management from Tsinghua University, is the general manager of SynTao and chairman of SynTao Green Finance. Dr. Guo Peiyuan continuously focuses on research and practices about corporate social responsibility (CSR) and socially responsible investment (SRI), with abundant experience on research, training and consulting services. Now SynTao has become a leading CSR consulting company in China with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Washington D.C. SynTao Green Finance is a founding member of Green Finance Committee of China Society for Finance and Banking. It is also the first CBI approved green bond verifier from China.

    Dr. Guo Peiyuan has served for over one hundred companies, governments, and social organizations home and abroad, including China Mobile, China Pacific Insurance, Amway China, Volkswagen, International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), etc. He has served as a judge in multiple CSR awards. Now he also teaches MBA course Business Performance and Sustainability in School of Economics and Management , Tsinghua University, and teaches international student course Social Innovation and CSR in School of Social Development and Public Policy, Beijing Normal University.

Attending an Event
Events have limited seating, so to ensure your attendance we encourage advance online registration and payment for ALL events. We cannot guarantee entry to anyone not registered in advance.
Most of our events are in English and off the record, but please check the webpage for each event to avoid disappointment.

Advance Tickets and Discounts
Members can receive a discount by purchasing an advance ticket at least 24 hours before the day of the event. You must pay online at the time of registering for the event to be eligible for a discount.
Discounts will not be available to members at the door.

Receipts (fapiao)
You can receive your fapiao when you arrive for an event provided that you buy an advance ticket and pay online at least 1 working day before the event and you provide the correct information for your fapiao at that time. You can leave details of the type of fapiao you need on the registration and payment page.
 
Event attendees can request a fapiao at the door or up to two months after the event. Requests made after that time will not be accommodated. Please contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.
 
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than one business day prior to the event. If you fail to notify AmCham China of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will forfeit the fee you have already paid.

To cancel you can: 1) cancel directly online through the Eventbank platform on which you registered or 2) contact the AmCham China staff member responsible for organizing your event.
