Target audience
Employees and managers who often participate in cross-cultural discussions, meetings, conference calls or video conferences with global team members.
Course Objectives
The course aims to develop the following competency of the participants:
- Be strategically prepared for a purposeful discussion with global team members
- Be able to participate proactively and articulate their opinions clearly and confidently
- Be able to understand the other side’s story, and be able to reach agreement with global team members despite differences

2. Telephone/Conference Calls with Global Teams
• Small talk
• Purposeful conversation
• How to be more assertive in conference calls
3. An Uphill Battle – Dealing with Disagreement & Objection from Global Teams
• Handling rejections
• Problem solving
• Reconciliation
• Reaching agreement
Special Registration Information:
You must register in advance. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Attendees need to pay by March 20, 2017. Limited spots are available and attendance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cannot attend a training for which you have registered, please cancel your registration no later than five business days prior to the training. If you fail to notify AmCham China of your cancellation in a timely fashion, you will be charged for training costs.
