AmCham Northeast China Chapter, in cooperation with the German Chamber, and European Union Chamber welcome you to an informative and practical briefing on essential rules & regulations for doing business in China.

If foreign managers take on a leading position in a company in China, they have to make decisions on a daily basis to maintain the company’s operations. This seminar aims to give an overview of the main tax, finance and legal requirements for compliant business operations so that foreign decision makers can be prepared for daily business tasks and be aware of potential pitfalls and risks in the course of running a business in China.

    Martin Seybold

    Dr. Martin Seybold is German attorney-at-law and heads the Beijing Office of Rödl & Partner since the beginning of 2015. He focuses on Chinese business law, mainly in the fields of foreign direct investment, M&A transactions, commerce and marketing law, compliance and IP protection in China. Before joining Rödl & Partner in April 2013 to head the legal department of the Beijing office, Dr. Seybold built and lead his own law firm in Beijing for more than 8 years. He meanwhile has over 12 years of practical experience in and with China, and during this time he has advised many foreign invested enterprises in China.

    Tanja Fuchs

    Tanja Fuchs heads the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Tax department of the Rödl & Partner Beijing office since January 2015. Before joining Rödl & Partner, she worked for different German automotive manufacturers in the areas of investment controlling, internal audits and corporate strategy, as well as an international bank for the credit risk management department. She has over 10 years of experience in the core fields of Rödl & Partner’s advisory activities.
