Event Details

AmCham China and AmCham Shanghai will be organizing a provincial trip to Jiangsu, which will be held from Oct 26 –28. AmCham China’s President Alan Beebe will lead the delegation.

Jiangsu, located in the beautiful and prosperous Yangtze Delta, enjoys the superiority of its natural resources and lays a solid economic foundation. It is home to many of the world's leading exporters of electronic equipment, chemicals and textiles, and a perfect place to explore and understand China’s grand strategy Made in China 2025. Jiangsu is the leading province for per capita GDP and regional development. In 2014, its nominal GDP was more than 1 trillion US dollars, which is the sixth highest of all country subdivisions.

During the three-day trip, with a focus on the manufacturing sector, both provincial and municipal leaders will meet with the AmCham China and AmCham Shanghai’s delegation and present on Jiangsu’s latest investment climate and policies. The delegation will also have the opportunity to visit development zones, high tech industrial parks, and leading companies in Jiangsu.
