John B. Veihmeyer, Chairman of KPMG International and Honson To, Chairman of KPMG China, will share the findings of KPMG’s 2016 Global CEO Outlook Survey which will be launched globally at the World Economic Forum in Tianjin earlier the same day.
The study gauges the three-year outlook of more than 1,200 CEOs from some of the largest companies, including more than 100 CEOs from China-headquartered companies, on a range of issues including mergers and acquisitions, customer growth, cyber security, innovation, cognitive computing and talent gaps. The report provides a vivid image of global CEOs’ expectations for business growth, the challenges they face and their strategies to chart organizational success over the next three years.
KPMG’s Global CEO Outlook 2016 identifies three key themes on the minds of China CEOs as they prepare to steer their companies through a period of slower growth in China:
How do enterprises around the world create linkages between “innovation” and enhanced business results? How can we really “know the customer” better in China when the customer mind-set is changing seemingly every day? What global insights in capability building and talent management are most relevant for China-based enterprises? What can global CEOs learn from China, and what lessons should China-based CEOs apply from global markets? These are some of the questions that will be explored in a dynamic and interactive panel discussion with senior executives from major MNCs operating in China.
