Our first stop will be ADM Bio-Science and Technology (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Archer Daniels Midland Company, which was established in 2012 with the vision of serving China’s growing demand for better and heathier foods. Till now, ADM Tianjin has developed into a modern food processing hub that supplies a variety of food ingredients to China and Asia markets. Major products of ADM Tianjin include high fructose corn syrup and Fibersol®, both of which are widely applied in the food and beverage industries.
Archer Daniels Midland Company was founded in 1902 and was named the Most Admired Company in the Food Production industry by Fortune magazine in 2015 and previous years.
Our second stop will be BOMESC. Founded in 1996 and located at Tanggu by Bohai Bay in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), BOMESC is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) company providing comprehensive services for offshore oil and gas, including LNG, and mining projects. Servicing China, the Middle East, North and South America, Russia, Africa, Singapore and Australia, BOMESC expects to cooperate with friends from all over the world, and also provide quality EPC services for customers worldwide.
This tour is the 16th stop in AmCham China Tianjin’s series of company tours introducing our members to the world of advanced manufacturing, with previous stops at Toyota, Caterpillar, Boeing, GE and many more.
