AmCham China cordially invites you to join our Business and Investment Outreach (BIO) trip to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region (hereinafter “Xinjiang”) from June 21 to 25 jointly organized by CIPA (Investment Promotion Agency of MOFCOM) . The delegation will be led by AmCham China President Alan Beebe and will travel to Urumqi (ไน้ฒๆจ้ฝ, the capital city of Xinjiang), Shihezi (็ณๆฒณๅญ) and Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture (ไผ็ๅ่จๅ
่ชๆฒปๅท).
Xinjiang once served as a key hub of the well-known Silk Road, and is a key part of the railway leading to the second Eurasia Continental Bridge. The “One Belt, One Road” Initiative also prioritizes development of the region through the updating of infrastructure, building of energy bases, creation of import and export industry clusters and developing Xinjiang into China's regional transportation, business logistic, finance, education and healthcare service center. Xinjiang's nominal GDP in 2015 was more than 143 billion dollars.
During the four-day trip, both provincial and municipal leaders will meet with the AmCham China delegation and present on Xinjiang’s latest investment climate and policies. The delegation will also have the opportunity to visit development zones and leading companies in Xinjiang. This will be a fantastic trip for members to explore and learn about Urumqi, Shihezi and Ili first-hand.

• 50% of the payment will be deducted if the cancellation notice is made after 12pm on June 17.
