Event Details
To give our members important insights into the workings of the U.S. Embassy, and how the U.S. Embassy can support us in our professional and personal lives, AmCham China launched a quarterly series featuring embassy staff from various sections that work on issues directly impacting AmCham and our members. This quarterly series is brought in partnership with the Foreign Commercial Service.
The second event in this series will feature the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA). USTDA helps companies create U.S. jobs through the export of U.S. goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies. USTDA links U.S. businesses to export opportunities by funding project planning activities, pilot projects, and reverse trade missions while creating sustainable infrastructure and economic growth in partner countries.
Steve Winkates’ presentation will provide an overview of USTDA:
- The sectors covered
- Types of projects funded
- How USTDA’s work benefits U.S. companies
- How to apply for USTDA funding
William Zarit, Vice Chairman of AmCham China and Co-Chair of Outbound Investment Forum, will moderate this event.
Please note this event is free of charge and open to members only.
