Event Details

Due to challenges in terminology, syntax, punctuation, and grammar, creating high-quality, professional legal documents in English is a big challenge for international lawyers for whom English is not their native language. Yet, because English is the standard for most international legal agreements, the ability to draft high-quality documents is essential. There can be no margin for error.

Therefore, AmCham China will be conducting a training course to help those using English as a second language better understand and draft retainer agreements and obtain key concepts.

To introduce the course, we will be holding a two-hour demonstration session, free of charge, so participants can get a feel for the course and ask any questions they have.

The actual 29-hour training course will be held over three consecutive weekends starting April 9.

Who should attend?
Legal Drafting for International Lawyers is the most effective legal writing program available for non-native-English-speaking attorneys and legal professionals who draft, edit, and review legal documents in English.

Special Registration Information:
For this demonstration session, you must register in advance. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Limited spots are available and attendance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.
