The guest speaker for this month will be Mr. Nathaniel Farrar, Vice Consul at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing. He joined the U.S. Department of State in 2011 and previously served as a Consular Officer at U.S. Consulate General Shanghai. He has over four years of experience adjudicating visas and assisting American citizens living in China.
More than a year after the U.S. and China signed an historic agreement expanding visa reciprocity, Nathaniel will present on current U.S. visa policy and regulations. He will also demystify the U.S. non-immigrant visa application process in China and correct common misunderstandings regarding business/tourism (B1/B2) visas. Finally, Nathaniel will provide an overview of U.S. Embassy services available to American citizens in China.
