Edith Coron is a successful executive coach and intercultural specialist, having spent 20 years as a foreign correspondent for major international publications. Her previous book, “The Last Exodus” (Editions Francois Bourin, Paris 1993 and Forlaget Exodus, Oslo 1993) explored the massive wave of Soviet Jewish immigration to Israel in the early 1990’s. A global nomad by choice, she has lived and worked in North and West Africa, the U.S.A, the U.K, Latin America, Israel, Russia and France; she has been based in China since 2006.

Anne Garrigue is a French journalist and writer, specialized in Asia, where she lived and worked for 20 years until moving to Paris in 2014. She has published seven books on Asia including Japanese Women, The Soft Revolution, (Picquier, 1998), which looks at Japanese society through the eyes of women. The book was nominated for “Elle” magazine’s Readers’ Grand Prize and has been translated into Japanese and Chinese. Her journey through Asia has given her the opportunity to learn first-hand how a long sojourn on the continent influences one’s identity. She has developed her own cultural hybridity through her personal and professional encounters in Japan, Korea and China.
