In recent years, global instability has intensified, and geopolitical shifts have brought unprecedented challenges to corporate operations. From the impact of international conflicts to adjustments in policy environments and the opportunities and risks brought by technological advancements, businesses must now navigate an increasingly uncertain landscape to maintain steady growth.


On the practical level, companies need to pay closer attention to sensitive issues such as potential risks associated with international topics, compliance in the use of maps and national flags, standardization of regional terminology, and how to balance differing overseas and domestic positions across various markets. Additionally, shifts in domestic public opinion—on topics such as feminism, labor rights, animal protection, and economic nationalism—are posing new challenges to corporate branding and market strategies.

    For nearly 30 years, QC has provided invaluable counsels to both global and Chinese companies facing extraordinary pressure, challenges and changes. A veteran in corporate communications and brand reputation management, he wields his deep insight into China’s robust and fast evolving markets to mitigate risks and enhance brand assets. QC has worked across a variety of sectors covering TMT, energy, consumer goods, and entertainment industries, with a focus on bringing strategic value to clients in the areas of issue & crisis management, ESG communications, and social /digital strategy.
    QC’s approach to advisory is firmly rooted in his understanding of business environment and communications dynamics, having held senior positions both in-house (as head of global branding at TCL Corporation, secretary general of TCL Charity Foundation) and on agency side (as China president and CEO of H+K Strategies). He started his career with China International PR Association (CIPRA) and assisted two global agencies (Fleishman-Hillard, and APCO Worldwide) with the establishment of their China offices.
