Our President Michael Hart will provide an update on his current view of the US-China relationship drawing from a series of recent meetings including:

-His recent visit to Washington DC

-The visit by the US Senate Delegation to China

-Several past and upcoming academic exchanges between US and Chinese scholars

He will share what lessons he has drawn from these meetings including how internal US political activities are impacting US China relations and what the schedule of various visits and meetings through the end of the year may mean for the bilateral relationship. There will be adequate time for Q&A.

This session aims to provide insights into the intricate the complicated dynamics between the U.S. and China and it will be strictly off-the-record.
