Event Details

On March 5, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang announced the "Made in China 2025” concept, emphasizing the integration of manufacturing and Internet Plus. It is estimated that the speed of China's industrial internet development will boost GDP growth by at least 3 trillion USD over the next 20 years. The first draft of the Chinese Manufacturing Industry Development Outline (2015-2025) touches on various industries: information technology, bio pharmaceutical and bio manufacturing, high-end equipment manufacturing and energy.

AmCham’s Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Forum and the Yida New Software Park will jointly hold a panel discussion with think tank that has involved in the policy making (CCID Group) and leading industry experts (Oracle, Intel, Deloitte, and Yida New Software Park) covering business opportunities and strategies in relation to the trend of China’s Industry 4.0 and Internet Plus. Speakers will debrief China's "Industry 4.0” and “Internet Plus” guide, share its impact on foreign MNCs and possible future trend.

Event will be in English. The policy debriefing session will be in Chinese with consecutive interpretation onsite.

    Taylor leads the China Firm's Public Offering Group in Northern China that focuses on initial public offering ("IPO") services. He also leads the China Firm’s audit practice in TMT sector and is the lead client service partner of China Telecom. He has successfully helped and advised a number of companies, in particular high growth companies in TMT and education sectors, in raising funds in Hong Kong or the US through IPO. Taylor is also a frequent speaker on IPO and related topics.

Prior to Intel, Jing was the Secretary General of the TD Forum, an industry association for ICT MNCs that monitors Chinese home-grown 3G/4G wireless standards and products currently deployed by China Mobile. Between 1994 and 2007, Jing worked for Nortel Networks in Dallas and Beijing as a wireless software designer, system engineering specialist, senior manager of wireless system capacity / performance, and marketing director for 3G products.
    Jing graduated from Peking University with a B.S. in Mathematics, from the University of Texas with an M.S. in Computer Science, and from Southern Methodist University with a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics.

He was mainly responsible for making the corporate strategic planning, sales & marketing operation, establishing & maintaining cooperation relations with govt. He joined Dalian Software Park Company in 2001. Michael Ye graduated from the Department of International Economics, University of International Relations.
