For the past 25 years, AmCham China's Business Climate Survey has served as one of the key barometers of the sentiment of the American business community in China.

• How did the 2022 performance of foreign companies in China fare in light of the COVID-19 prevention measures and mounting pressures from bilateral relations uncertainties and geopolitical tensions?

The 2023 report represents diverse views from 20+ sectors, citing data from roughly half of our member companies and covering a wide variety of topics including investment trends and outlooks, regulatory developments, intellectual property, and the bilateral relationship. The report continues to monitor the COVID-19 business impact and captures timely sentiments around US businesses 'Environmental (E), Social (S), and Governance (G)' strategies in China.

This event will be moderated by Jeffrey Bernstein, Co-Chair of AmCham China Healthcare Committee with briefings given by AmCham China President Michael Hart.
