Jiangxi Province will be the destination of AmCham China's first Business & Investment Outreach (BIO) trip of the year. Also, it will be AmCham China's first BIO trip to Jiangxi.
Jiangxi is attracting both domestic and foreign investments. Both Beijing-Kowloon and Zhejiang-Jiangxi railways run through the province, which provides convenient transportation and strategic location. Stretching from the banks of the Yangtze River in the north to hilly areas further south, the province has advantageous geographic location and abundant natural resources, and it aims to develop ecological economy.
During the three-day trip, the delegation will make two stops at Nanchang and Jingdezhen. Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi, is known as "the Red City" as the PLA was founded there. Jingdezhen is a historical city best known for porcelain.
