At the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly in September 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping announced that China would strive to peak CO2 emissions before 2030, and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060.
Enterprises have taken concrete steps to support the realization of China's carbon dioxide peaking and carbon neutrality goals. The nationwide mission of the American Chamber of Commerce in China (AmCham China) is to help American companies succeed in China. We encourage and support member companies to innovate and upgrade, and realize sustainable growth by combining their business strategies and China's "dual carbon" goals.
There will be a series of events hosted by AmCham China, Northeast Chapter on November 22,2022 to provide a platform for US companies who are in a leading role of realizing sustainability and environmental protection to showcase their achievements with both Chinese and US governments, and jointly discuss how the US enterprises and SOEs can work together to help China succeed in achieving the low carbon goals.
