The White Paper is one of AmCham China's signature products and codifies members' collective insights on the current business climate in China. By contributing to the White Paper, you will have the opportunity to ensure your industries' concerns are heard by the responsible officials and will also be invited to attend subsequent White Paper-related events and government meetings. Both new and experienced members who want to have their voices heard in next year's White Paper are welcomed to join and share their experiences.

On May 17th, 2022, AmCham China officially launched the 24th edition of the American Business in China White Paper (White Paper). This year's edition contains 38 chapters covering developments over the past year, and includes 20 chapters on industry-specific issues, such as agriculture, banking, ICT, manufacturing, healthcare, and real estate, 12 chapters on industrial policy and market access, such as competition law, compliance, procurement, and taxes, and four chapters with a region-specific focus, covering central China, northeast China, Shanghai, and Tianjin.

We have been gratified by the close attention US and Chinese policy makers have paid to the White Paper in past years. In this edition, we have endeavored to offer a comprehensive set of recommendations for both countries as they work towards greater mutual understanding and successful resolution of outstanding company concerns.
