Please join us on Thursday, September 18th from 4-5:30 PM at the AmCham China Conference Center to discuss with AmCham China staff and member companies formulating our latest initiative: the US-China "Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) Task Force". As momentum for the BIT Task Force builds, AmCham China hopes to submit specific issues, comments, and suggestions by member companies to the US Government as negotiations on the negative list and other aspects of the BIT develop. The real-time and on-the ground experience of our members in China will be essential for informing US regulators on the barriers facing American companies, and we encourage members from get involved on behalf of their company. Similar to our current forums and committees, the Task Force will therefore provide a new and effective platform to stay informed and to ensure your industry is included in the US-China Bilateral Investment Treaty negotiations.
AmCham China is calling for companies to participate in the planning and development of the BIT Task Force, and have their voices heard as important milestones are made in bringing the US and Chinese economies closer than ever.
