The essential business skills of having difficult conversations, making polite requests, and handling complaints.


If only we lived in a world without these. Having to complain sometimes ourselves and having to deal with complaints. These skills must have for everyone in a company dealing with coworkers, managers, and especially customers. Being polite in a second language is very difficult - and it can be very easy to upset someone by accident. In this lesson participants will be given a course in English dealing with 2 main sections: making all of our business speech more polite and dealing with complaints. The reality is in business it is critical to have the skills and language to handle these situations.


In the first section - Polite Speech - we will learn:

  • how to effectively make requests and complain in English without sounding rude
  • rules and language to use - as well as guided practice

In the second section - Complaints - we will look at both sides:

  • making them politely, and how to apologize and deal with complaints in the workplace
  • ideas, specific language to use, and guided practice.


This will be a 3 hours instruction in English that will cover business skills and language practice - both of which can and will be used daily, and will last attendees last a lifetime.
