This month, our guest speaker will be Steve Maurer, Managing Director, AlixPartners, who will share his insights on the evolving economic environment in Asia. With lower GDP growth and increasing competition dominating the landscape in most countries, corporations in several industries in Asia are having to re-examine the robustness of their balance sheets and profitability / cash flow of their operations. Some companies are taking a proactive approach to holistically turning themselves around, and in the process, are restructuring their businesses not only to deal with the changing economic landscape and the rising costs of doing business across Asia, but also to improve their flexibility and resilience to deal with the future.
