The guest speaker for this month will be Justin A. Franke, General Manager of Boeing Tianjin Composites Co. Ltd. He will discuss his thoughts on the global aerospace market, recent developments of Boeing in China and the strategy of Boeing Tianjin Composite Co., LTD.
Justin Franke was appointed General Manager of Boeing Tianjin Composites Co. Ltd. on April 1, 2014. Previously, he was Director of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Partnering for Success program. In that position his focus was to identify and capture cost improvement opportunities in the Boeing global supply chain. Prior leadership positions include Director of Supplier Management for the 767 and then he had responsibility for 767 Supplier Management and KC-46 Tanker Supplier Management. Before program management, Justin was the Senior Manager of Asia Structures Supplier Management, where his duties included management of Asia Structures suppliers' quality, cost and delivery performance in support of the manufacture and service of the 737, 747, 767 and 777 Programs. Franke joined Boeing in 1996.
