AmCham China hosts the next session of the Skills Training Program, focusing on email communication, in partnership with Intellect Associates.
This one day course focuses on the structure and strategies of email communication in the workplace. Participants of the course will learn how to think strategically before writing and write in a clear, professional and persuasive way.
Who should attend?
Local Chinese managers and staff who need to communicate extensively in written English, such as staff in management positions and in business functions like HR, finance, marketing, sales, government affairs, PR, engineering, R&D, procurement, IT, etc.

Trainer - Mike Oswell
Mike Oswell is an experienced and successful business leader, business developer and manager. He has over 30 years experience as a senior executive in a global consulting firm in the field of environmental engineering, including as Asia Managing Director. Having worked in over 60 countries, his experience covers government clients, the oil industry, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and engineering industries and extends to US, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. While in Singapore he started the Asia campus of the company's in-house university and in recent years has been active in China in the areas of executive education. He has taught writing skills to executives and managers in Airbus, BP, Caterpillar, Ernst & Young, GE Healthcare, IBM, Microsoft, Siemens, and individuals from over 30 further multinational companies.
Oswell holds a BA and MA from Cambridge University, UK and an MBA from Harvard Business School, US.
"Writing for Results" is a full day course from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM that will be held in the AmCham China Conference Center. Coffee, lunch and light refreshments will be provided during breaks.
