To better understand the current energy landscape and the robust cooperative government-to-government agreements and public-private partnerships that govern our bilateral energy relationship with China, the AmCham China Oil, Energy & Power (OEP) Forum is pleased to invite Christopher Smith, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary and Acting Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy, US Department of Energy, to speak at our next luncheon.
Acting Assistant Secretary Smith will brief us on recent progress of our bilateral cooperation on fossil energy, including cooperation on unconventional oil and gas, the impact of the US shale gas revolution, and the status of US liquefied natural gas exports.
