Hyatt Regency Tianjin East is a new five-star international hotel in Hedong District that will open in May. The former Hyatt Regency Tianjin, which opened in 1986 and closed in 2009, was the first Hyatt hotel in mainland China as well as the first international hotel in Tianjin. The opening of Hyatt Regency Tianjin East marks the return of the well-known Hyatt Regency brand to Tianjin.
