Sustainable development has become a major issue for all people in the world, and is gradually becoming a guideline for investment in the financial markets. Our topic on December 10 will be "Sustainable Investing in the Indo-Pacific: case studies and institutional commitments".

Our speakers will be Christina Ellerker, Director, Regulatory Affairs and Reform with Citi's Government Affairs in Asia Pacific and Edan Lee, a Managing Director of Olympus Capital Asia. Christina will speak about Citi's efforts in the sustainability space as well as update on regional development from a policy perspective. Edan will share his experiences about sustainable investments that Olympus Capital Asia has made over the years, including a rooftop solar business that it controls in Thailand and Vietnam and another investment in the leading cellphone recycler in India.

This discussion should give everyone a more clear understanding of what "sustainable investing" means and how it is being and has been implemented in this region.
