Wuhan has always been one of the most important cities in central China as a transportation hub, industrial base, important commercial town and science, education and culture center. Today, Wuhan has developed into a mega city with a population of more than 12 million people and has a leading GDP in economic and trade development within China's central region.
After successfully recovering from the pandemic, Wuhan's economic development continued at a rapid pace. In 2021, Wuhan had a GDP mark of RMB 825 billion, while also registering many "first" in the development of science and technology industry. The development of new kinetic energy has accelerated significantly and there are unlimited business opportunities for development in this vibrant city.
This year, we will hold the 7th American Business Dialogue with the Wuhan Government. In order to provide better service for our member companies, we will hold the 1st Annual General Meeting in Central China at the same time. Members are welcome to sign up for the two activities!
Part One: The 7th American Business Dialogue with Wuhan Government
AmCham China Central China Chapter has held the annual 'American Business Dialogue with Wuhan Government' for six years, aiming to build a platform for member enterprises to communicate with functional departments at all levels of Wuhan government. which has received a strong response among member enterprises. We want to make every effort to create a better international business environment together with our member enterprises and the local government.
Central China Chapter plans to hold the 'The 7th American Business Dialogue with Wuhan Government' on December 22 or 23. At that time, leaders of Wuhan government and functional departments heads will attend and discuss relevant policies and problems with enterprises. By working together with government and enterprises, we hope to promote the economic development of Wuhan and make Wuhan the most popular city for foreign-funded enterprises.

Part Two: The First Annual General Meeting of AmCham China Central China Chapter
This year, AmCham China Central China Chapter will hold the first annual general meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to look back what we have done and look forward to the work priorities and plans for the coming year. Also, it will be a good opportunity to enhance the understanding among member enterprises and increase the cohesion of our chapter.
*The annual general meeting is free for all member enterprises of Central China Chapter.
