The New Exit-Entry Administration Law and Its Impact on Foreign Companies in Tianjin
On June 30, 2013, the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress passed a new Exit-Entry Administration Law, which became effective on July 1, 2013. The new law includes important changes for foreign companies. It adapts China's immigration policy to the current circumstances and introduces new visa categories, new regulations for the application and extension of visa and residence permits, as well as harsher punishments for violations.
To give you a better understanding of the new regulations, AmCham China Tianjin will host a discussion with Liu Changqing, deputy section chief of the Exit-Entry Administration in Tianjin. Liu will clarify the impact of the new Exit-Entry Administration Law on foreigners and foreign companies in Tianjin.
