Join AmCham China for a lunchtime panel discussion in the second installment of the Managing Fraud Series.

In the course of carrying out fraud, perpetrators navigate through companies' complex internal information technology and accounting systems in order to achieve their goals. This can lead to expensive financial fraud investigations, financial restatements, damage to a company's reputation, among other problems. This panel will discuss some of the steps companies can take to prevent fraud from going undetected or stop it in the first instance, as well as some of the issues involved and actions to take from a finance or accounting perspective once a company begins to suspect it may be a victim of fraud or corruption.
