Hill+Knowlton Strategies China is rolling out its first-ever Social PR Lab Briefing with a presentation by Andrew Bleeker, director of online advertising for both of Barack Obama's election campaigns, and current H+K global digital lead. An invite-only conference, the Social PR Lab Briefing will bring together social platforms and interactive communication experts to share the latest insights on the digital landscape, spark open discussions and fuel greater collaboration with the communications community.

The session is set to cover recent changes in the digital landscape that have led to a shift in the way brands, governments and companies' communicate. A convergence in off- and on-line communication have produced a completely new way of communicating. As part of its commitment to The Social PR Lab—a brand new methodology developed by Hill+Knowlton Strategies—is purpose-built to take advantage of this new "social" layer of communications.
The panel will feature a number of experts sharing their thoughts on the changing world of digital communication, brought about in China by a surge in social media technologies and platforms. In addition to introducing the Social PR Lab, Andrew Bleeker will be discussing the convergence of digital and traditional media and the importance of marketing strategies for brands, using his recent work with social media in President Obama's 2012 presidential campaign as an example. A representative from CiC, China's leading social media and business intelligence provider will be discussing the social media landscape in China, what social business means for brands, and crisis management and monitoring in the micro-era. And finally, a representative from Sina Weibo will be providing insights on its social media platforms, how brands can utilize them to enhance their reach and improve their social "antennae", as well as technology trends that are shaping and will shape the digital landscape.

The Social PR Lab Briefing will conclude with a Q&A session hosted by Ye Yu, co-president, H+K Strategies China. This open Q&A session will provide a chance for all attendees to ask questions or share their thoughts on what they believe the convergence of traditional and digital media means for brands and communications, and what the future holds in store.
