[Invite Only ] CHRO Roundtable: Ethical Blindspots Plays in Unethical Behavior in the Workplace

AmCham China HR and Education forums are co-organizing our first off-line event. My pleasure to invite you to attend Human Resources Exclusive Roundtablein person at Genesis Beijing (in BJ), 9:00 am-10:30am, Friday, March 12nd.

Thanks the great support from Notre Dame Beijing Global Gateway (BGG), this event will include a short virtual speech on behavioral ethics and its relevant organizational applications, given by Prof Ann E. Tenbrunsel, followed by a roundtable discussion among attendees, facilitated by Annie Wang, vice chair of HR forum. Professor Tenbrunsel is a well-known expert for business ethics field in US, she is also serving as Senior Assistant Provost for Internationalization at University of Notre Dame.

Drawing on the burgeoning field of behavioral ethics, which examines how and why people behave the way they do in the face of ethical dilemmas, discussion will reveal that much of our ethical behavior occurs without conscious awareness, leading to a gap between perceptions of our ethicality and our actual ethicality. Why do efforts designed to improve Ethical Behavior in the Workplace continue to over promise and under deliver? Prof. Tenbrunsel will explore the role that ethical blindspots plays in unethical behavior as well as the relevant organizational applications.
